Taking the plunge Posted By: Ross Date Posted: 07/22/2008 Well yesterday I did something that a little over four years ago I thought I would never do. I registered for college classes. Well I thought I might take a class here or there at SCC, but never enroll in classes with a definite degree path in mind again. How quickly things change in four short years I guess. I am waiting for classes to start like Jamie did last year. I can't wait, hopefully that feeling will last and I can keep the same excitement until I'm done with school again. No comments yet!
Our weekend Posted By: Ross Date Posted: 07/14/2008 Well Jamie and I spent a nice weekend in Kansas City. We went to a Royal's game on Friday night, and the Royal's even won the game, which for you baseball fans might come as a bit of a surprise. Saturday is was raining but we still went to World's of Fun and walked around in the rain and had fun. If finally warmed up enough about 3:30 for us to head over to Ocean's of fun and go play in on the water slides, it is lots smaller than I thought it would be though. Oh well it was still lots of fun. One of the more memorable moments though I would have to say happened yesterday on our way home. We bought a new GPS unit on Friday so that we wouldn't get lost in KC, and the voice we picked out was called Mandy, so thats what we've taken to calling the GPS unit. Well on the way home it was doing something weird and Jamie got started talking to it saying stuff like, "Its OK isn't it Mandy", like it was a little kid. I think maybe the sun was starting to get to her a little bit. Hopefully she's ok now. Posted by: Father Grell On: 07/15/2008 Is Mandy feeling better today? High class living. Posted By: Ross Date Posted: 06/30/2008 So Jamie and I have now entered the high class living and are now complete golfers. OK so maybe not, we went for the first time together tonight. All was well, the only thing hurt were a few worms by Jamie's shots and lots of lost golf balls by my shots. But we each had enough good shots to hopefully keep us going back. This was actually just a practice round for the 3rd annual Reiman golf tourney. We are going to win it all ;).
